| Me & The Man Mr. Les Paul |
I'm into way too many things and I wish I could do them all or keep up and/or afford to do
what I actually like....I have businesses that pay the bills, music that 'might' pay a bill here n' there
but mostly just manages to alleviate tension and sooth my soul... god bless rock & roll...., guitars & guitar
amps that drain my wallet , skateboarding that makes me feel young, snowboarding that when I'm on top of a mountain on a killer
pow day nothing else seems to matter, mountain biking that without my wife pushing me would only be something that I
wished I did just like the day before I met her, cars and motorcycles that I used to own that were cool that one day I'll
build again and pass on to my son so he'll remember how cool I once was... guns and knives intrigue me but I mostly own
just knives. vintage Rolex watches fit in there somewhere too... and I'm always trawling
CL and Ebay for stuff and if anything just to look at cool shit. I have an affinity for old Marshall, Fender, Supro/Valco
amps, Gibson Les Paul and Gibson acoustic guitars and a few odd n' end cheapo guitars like, Danelectro, Silvertone and
Stella/Harmony Parlor acoustic guitars. I like pawn shops and flea markets looking for odd n' end cool things but I'm not
a collector. I'm not into having so much 'stuff'' just because I like it to the point of where it clutters my life. Moderation
is key. If I don't use it, I get rid of it. If it doesn't have a place, I get rid of it. It seems like I'm always
working on the 'house' and thinking of the next thing to do in life however mi Familia
y Compadres is the most important thing in my life. I love them all more than they will ever know.
A great quote from my friend Randy Katen - "In life there are people
who make things happen, people who watch things happen and then there are people that wondered... what happened!?"
"Having an idea and actually bringing it
to fruition are 2 totally different things!" - ARG
